Progress from the Collective Effort: Westside Future Fund Delivers 1000 Grocery Packs during COVID-19 Crisis
As of April 24, Westside Future Fund (WFF) has provided over one thousand packs of free fresh groceries to WFF multi-family tenants, participants in the Anti-Displacement Tax Fund program for legacy homeowners, and to Westside residents suffering from food insecurity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, YMCA of Metro Atlanta, and The Cute Shuttle, Westside Volunteer Corps is continuing its food distribution initiative every Thursday to help mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on Atlanta’s Westside.
