Rev. Dr. Herman Skip Mason, Jr., Senior Pastor, Historic West Mitchell CME Church, passionately delivered the devotion at Westside Future Fund’s December 2nd Transform Westside Summit. Rev. Mason lead with a moment of silence to honor the life and contributions of the late Akbar Imhotep, a beloved Westside storyteller. He then spoke on what the Westside has meant to him since childhood and his hope that it will be a meaningful, impactful, and equitable community for generations to come.
