Robert W. Woodruff Library Brings Black History to Life
The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library‘s CEO & Library Director, Loretta Parham, and Assistant Director and Head of the Archives Research Center, Sarah Tanner, joined the February 19th Virtual Transform Westside Summit to partake in a celebration of Atlanta’s Black History. Woodruff Library is an historic Atlanta citadel of culture, history, and information which serves Clark Atlanta University, Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse College, and Spelman College. The library is noted for its extensive and unique holdings of materials on the African American experience, including the John Henrik Clarke Africana and African American Collection and the Henry P. Slaughter and Countee Cullen Memorial Collection. In addition, at the request of Morehouse College, the library serves as custodian of the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection.
