Westside Future Fund Welcomes Jon Ingram as Chief Development Officer
Westside Future Fund (WFF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Ingram as its new Chief Development Officer. In this role, Ingram will lead fundraising efforts and strategic partnerships to support WFF’s mission of compassionate community redevelopment throughout Atlanta’s historic Westside neighborhoods.
An Atlanta native with deep personal and professional ties to the community, Ingram brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, program development, and corporate partnerships. Prior to joining WFF, he served as Director of Corporate Relations at the Woodruff Arts Center, where he built and strengthened strategic relationships with corporate partners to drive community impact. He previously spent nearly a decade with the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, leading program development and large-scale fundraising initiatives.
“Jon’s leadership and commitment to service make him an invaluable addition to our team at Westside Future Fund,” said John Ahmann, President & CEO at WFF. “His deep understanding of the Westside and proven success in nonprofit development will be invaluable as we continue our work to create opportunities for legacy residents and foster sustainable, community-driven change.”
For Ingram, the role is a personal calling. Having grown up immersed in the culture and leadership of the Westside, he credits the community with shaping his values and vision for service. His mother and grandmother, both proud Spelman College alumni, instilled in him a deep appreciation for education and community empowerment. His grandmother, a devoted educator, taught at several Westside schools, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students. Their influence, along with the support of the broader Westside community, shaped Ingram’s lifelong commitment to service and his drive to give back to the place that helped raise him.
“These are the people who believed in me when I was a child,” said Ingram. “Joining Westside Future Fund is an opportunity to give back to the community that helped raise me. I’m deeply committed to supporting the organization’s mission to empower legacy residents, preserve the community’s rich history, and create lasting opportunities for future generations.”
Ingram holds a degree from Columbus State University and is a graduate of both Leadership Cobb and LEAD Atlanta. He has been recognized for his professional and community impact, earning accolades such as the Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s Next Generation Award and Columbus State University’s Young Alumni Award.
Beyond his professional work, Ingram remains actively engaged in community leadership, having served on multiple boards, including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Center for Family Resources Board of Directors. He also serves as a middle school small group leader at Buckhead Church.
As Chief Development Officer, Ingram will oversee fundraising strategies and donor engagement, working to strengthen WFF’s ability to provide affordable housing, economic mobility, and community wellness initiatives for Westside residents.
